Terms of Use — Blackwood

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Blackwood website, the MT5 Assistant platform, and any associated software, indicators, Expert Advisors, or services (together, the "Service"), provided by Blackwood LLC ("Blackwood," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Blackwood provides software and market-analysis tools for the MetaTrader 5 platform, including pattern-detection indicators, a Smart Money Concepts panel, a trading math dashboard, and related dashboards and alerts. Blackwood does not place trades, manage funds, or act on your behalf in any market. All trading decisions remain yours alone.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Plans, Billing & Payment

The Service is offered under three plans: Free, Pro (recurring subscription), and Lifetime (one-time fee). Payments are processed via Paystack in Ghana cedis or USD.

Pro billing renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid.
Lifetime access is a one-time payment for permanent access to the platform's analysis features. Separately, any Expert Advisor or indicator licence key issued with a Lifetime plan carries its own 12-month licence term, as described in the Software Licence.
All payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law.
Prices may change as the platform grows. Changes will not affect a Lifetime payment already made.

4. Credits & Usage-Based Features

Certain features (such as the Trading Brain analysis tool) consume a per-account credit balance shown to you before each use. Credit balances reset according to your plan's terms and do not roll over or entitle you to a cash refund.

5. Licence Keys & Software Use

Access to protected Expert Advisors and indicators requires a valid Blackwood licence key. Use of that software is governed separately by our Software Licence, including restrictions on redistribution, reverse engineering, and account sharing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: share or resell your account or licence key; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of any Blackwood software; interfere with or overload the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. No Financial Advice

Blackwood is a software provider, not a financial advisor, broker, or asset manager. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment, trading, or financial advice. All analysis, alerts, patterns, and dashboard output are informational tools only. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes. 8. No Guarantee of Results

Blackwood makes no representation or warranty that use of the Service will result in profit or avoid loss. Past performance of any tool, pattern, or strategy is not indicative of future results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blackwood and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
